Here are the photos that Laura took of Gabe last week when she visited Hangzhong. Here’s what she has to say about him: “ I can tell you he is a cutie and seems to be a very happy little guy. His house mama loves him very much and knows that he is coming to America.” We can see that he has either gained some weight or they have several layers of clothes on him!

We received a new photo of Gabe today. It was taken last week at the orphanage. A lady from the US and her daughter were at the orphanage celebrating the orphanage’s 10th anniversary and were allowed to tour and take photos. They told her that this little boy was to be adopted soon to the USA.

Here’s a map of China, with the Shaanxi Province highlighted. Hanzhong is located in the southwest corner of Shaanxi along the Han River, close to the Sichuan province (Sichuan cooking is very spicy). You can learn more about Hangzhong here.
