MOSAIC WINNER

Well, we’ve tallied the tickets and we have a winner! Jake and Amy Glover of Hays, Kansas are the winners of the mosaic donated by Andy’s sister, Leah Hesting.

We had a wonderful outpouring of love from our friends and family on this fundraiser and raised $1,200 towards Gabe’s adoption!!!!!! Thank you everyone!!!

Andy’s sister is a very talented mosaic artist. In her day job as a fourth grade teacher, she shares her joy of learning with the youth of Jewell County, Kansas. In her evenings and weekends, she takes teeny, tiny pieces of glass and antique dishes and puts them together in beautiful mosaic images. She has graciously agreed to help us finance our adoption expenses by donating a custom designed mosaic in a “raffle” for Gabe.

We are selling tickets at a suggested donation of $5 for one chance, $10 for 3 chances and $20 for 10 chances. We will be selling these tickets from October 1 to December 20 and will draw the winning ticket on December 20. The winner will be able to choose any design they want and my sister will then create the custom mosaic for them. Estimated delivery is January or February 2008.
